Frequently Asked Questions about our Carpet Cleaning Services

carpet cleaning faq pg feat

How does the process work?

First of all we start with a survey to ensure that we understand the requirements and provide the most suitable type of cleaning in order to get the best results. We then pre spray the carpets, which helps to loosen the soil. We then clean the carpets, the cleaning solution is carefully worked into the carpet fibres ensuring the most amount of dirt possible is released and subsequently removed.

The floor area is then extracted with a powerful hot water extraction machine. After extracting the main floor area, we employ a specially designed hand tool to extract the edges of the carpet. This tool allows us to remove dirt that is embedded in the carpet right next to the skirting board and in areas difficult to reach with standard equipment.

How long does it take for the carpet to dry?

It takes about 2 hours to dry however drying times can vary on time of year and if your central heating is on. You can walk on your newly cleaned carpet straight away. We would recommend you wear suitable and clean footwear until the carpet is fully dry.

How long will the cleaning take?

It depends on the size of carpet, number of rooms to be cleaned and the level of soiling. The time usually varies between 1-3 hours.

Do you work evenings and weekends?

We appreciate that many people will be out at work during the day and we are happy to provide our cleaning service on evenings and weekends.
